One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn't too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president's secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation, President Obama asked Michelle why was he so interested in talking to you. She mentioned that, in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, "so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant", to which Michelle responded, "no, if I had married him, he would now be President".

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
Lead by example. Be the bigger person in disputes and conflicts. Know how to hold your peace and when to walk away. On your job exhibit your best performance even when no one is looking. As a parent don't just tell your child to do better. Show him or her how to do better. As a spouse always try to give 100%. Whether you hold a leadership title or not, God has given you leadership abilities. You have to develop them and be faithful in what He has entrusted in your care. Take pride in who God made you and seek His approval not man's. Lead by example.

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
As we approach this season of fall, the air will become cooler and drier. The hardwood trees will begin to display a beautiful array of autumn colors, and leaves will begin falling to the ground. Daylight hours will gradually shorten. This change is a season which only last for a season(temporary). You may be experiencing a fall season in your marriage right now. Most marriage go through a dry season when it seems like you can't agree on anything and the daylight on your marriage may seem to be fading away and your nights are getting longer as though you cannot see your way through the trials. Every season brings about change. Just as God set the season of times for the benefit of life on earth. Remember, you must go through the winters of life before you can experience the spring of life. Whatever you are going through in your marriage, job, school, friendships etc. Hang in there! The best is yet to come.

Feeling Appreciated
It is so easy to take each other for granted and get caught up in the pattern of not expressing your appreciation to your spouse. It doesn't take allot to show appreciation but its the little things as well as the big things that count. For example saying "thank you" to each other each and every time your spouse does something thoughtful for you. Making an effort to work on any habits that may bother your spouse so your partner knows that you are mindful of his/her feelings and last but not least saying the three words that allot of people forget to say "I love you". Feeling appreciated don't take much but without it, it can cause many issues.
